Florida Biology 1 moves quickly, and students who don’t fully understand the early concepts often spend the rest of the year trying to catch up. The big ideas tested on the Biology 1 EOC—molecular and cellular biology, heredity and evolution, and organisms, populations, and ecosystems—form the foundation for everything else in the course.

 

In BIOMastery: Biology Foundation, students take a focused deep dive into these core ideas, aligned with Florida’s NGSSS Biology 1 standards and the Biology 1 EOC. They strengthen content knowledge, review key vocabulary and skills, and practice EOC-style questions so they can feel confident in class and on the exam.

    We move beyond simply reading about Florida Biology 1 topics. Students break down molecular and cellular biology, heredity and evolution, and organisms, populations, and ecosystems into clear, manageable pieces. They practice applying these ideas to EOC‑style questions and build the foundation they need to keep pace in class and on the Biology 1 EOC.
